Description
“It is an important spiritual truth that more is needed than the personal work. Freedom and peace arrive as a gift and surpass what could be gained by personal effort.” Melanie Wolfers
Scriptural basis
The understanding of human brokenness and God’s healing is taken from Psalm 103, 1-5: “Bless the Lord, oh my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord oh my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit; Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.”
The graphic illustrates the different aspects of human brokenness together with God’s corresponding healing intervention. It is called ‘The circle of God’s love’. Our individual human lives are seen as a journey and search for God’s benefits.
Content
The core part of each Seminar is a personal ministry session with conversation, prayer and silent listening to the Holy Spirit. Lectures, moments of silence and listening, adoration and worship services serve as preparation for the personal ministry session. Closing lectures help to transfer a newly gained freedom and quality into one's personal life.
Participants and language
The Seminar is limited to 15 participants and the language is Latvian and English (see bellow under 'application process'). The Seminar ‘Piepildīta dzīve Kristū’ creates a framework
- for those with a deep longing to experience God’s love and His presence.
- for those who need strengthening for their responsibilities in family, profession or church community.
- for those who serve as counselors, missionaries, pastors and seek to find renewal.
- for those who desire to improve in their competence as counselors.
